At the Brotherhood of the Bend, we are a grassroots organization, celebrating the fly fishing community. We connected through pro spots, and have both held brand ambassador positions, pro staff spots, and the like. We quickly saw the failure of the system and have largely stepped away from all that. If fly fishing doesn’t already have enough of an elitist separation, positions like that just push it closer to the edge.
At the Bend, we post our adventures, and literary tales, and share yours. Working full time at day jobs and both having side jobs, and families, we stay plenty busy, but still make every effort possible to have our brand, and organization, be a 365 days a year commitment, for you. In that, we know what your time on the water means to you, and how special it is. We celebrate that and share it with the world. From the flies you tie to the fish you catch, we embrace your successes and failures.
The pursuit of adventure, and the spirituality of the release embody what we do. Brand names take the way side, and the spirit, pure at the heart of our sport, is embraced in our community. A community self-grown, by word of mouth, ad free, by people like you and me, encouraged just to be a part of it.
